The Pines Hole 17

This hole is an easy par 5 after a solid tee shot. There is a wide landing area for the tee shot, and good length leads to an easy second and approach shot. However, if the tee shot is short, the landing area for the second shot is narrow and the safe play then is to take three short irons to reach the green in four. Very long hitters can reach the green in two, but they must watch out for the water to the right off the tee and be prepared to carry a long way over the water.
