Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Applied a fungicide to The Pines and The Palms greens
• Verti-cut and dusted The Pines greens
• Trimmed and detailed the bunker edges on The Palms
• Spot sprayed grass weeds on The Palms tee banks
• Repaired irrigation on The Palms land bridge between holes 13 and 14
• Mowed The Pines rough
• Trimmed the tee plates on both courses
• Tested renovation equipment on The Palms chipping green

Next week the team plans to:

• Continue mowing the rough on The Pines and The Palms
• Apply a foliar fertiliser to The Pines fairways, tees and aprons
• Trim and detail the bunker edges on The Pines
• Continue the tree removal work on The Palms
• Remove the paspalum encroachment on The Palms hole 4 green
• Conduct an irrigation trim on The Pines
• Continue mulching the pines forest floors using the Ventrac mulcher attachment
