WPGA Championship – Volunteer Information

Volunteers are essential to the success of the Australian WPGA Championship, providing support across various areas including Club facilities, on-course assistance, hospitality and more.

With the Australian WPGA Championship fast approaching at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, this is your chance to be a part of the event by volunteering your time and skills. Get involved and work alongside professional athletes throughout the week.

Roles available 

A wide variety of volunteer roles are available between Monday 3 March to Sunday 9 March 2025 as follows:

  • Walker scorers 
  • Drink carriers 
  • Carry board holders
  • Scoring 
  • Hole marshals 
  • Volunteer HQ 
  • Ball spotters 
  • Player transport 
  • Practice range 
  • TV production and media 

Australian Golf uses Rosterfy for its event volunteers. Rosterfy is a world-renowned volunteer management system designed to streamline volunteer recruitment, scheduling, management and communication. It offers a range of features aimed at making volunteer coordination and the volunteer experience more efficient and effective. Once volunteers have registered and created a Rosterfy account, they are able to view and express interest for volunteering opportunities in golf.

Via Rosterfy volunteers can:

  1. View and express interest for golf volunteering opportunities
  2. Access volunteer induction and training modules
  3. Select, confirm or decline shifts
  4. View rosters
  5. Keep up to date with the Australian Golf volunteer program
  6. View and update their profile

Application Process and Recruitment 

Applications for volunteering opportunities are directly managed via Rosterfy. This is a two-step process:
