Notice – The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works

Please see the below course updates: 

• Hole 8 – out of play
• Hole 10 – out of play
• Holes 19 and 20 replace holes 8 and 10, respectively 
• All one-tee starts begin on hole 19
• All two-tee starts begin on holes 1 and 11, with holes 19 and 20 to be played after hole 18

Please note contractors will begin shelling out other bunkers throughout the program. 

The following works have been completed on holes 18, 10 and 8. 

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 18

• Hole 18 has been completed
• All the new turf is now in the growth stage

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 10

• The rear greenside bunkers have been reshaped
• New drainage and Duracrumb liner installed
• New sand and turf will be installed and laid in the bunkers
• The left greenside bunker has been removed and reshaped to a grass bunker
• The fairway bunkers have been shelled out, temporarily lined and had fresh sand installed for the interim

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 8

• The lake edge works have begun
• The exisiting edge has now been stripped out
• New rock, geofabric and drainage layers to be installed
