Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Applied a foliar fertiliser to The Pines tees, green aprons and fairways
• Mowed The Pines rough
• Renovated the northern driving range tee, which included using a Ventrac aerator and power brush, spiral cutting at 8mm, topdressing and applying a granular fertiliser
• Continued to apply a herbicide for flat weeds to the bunker surrounds
• Conducted a detail trim of the bunkers on The Pines
• Applied a sodium flush to the greens on The Pines and The Palms
• Removed unwanted trees to assist with the bunker works on hole 10 of The Palms
• Applied a herbicide for runners and weeds to the out-of-play bunkers on The Palms

Next week the team plans to:

• Apply a foliar fertiliser to The Palms tees, green aprons and fairways
• Verti-cut and dust The Palms greens
• Mow The Palms rough
• Continue using the Ventrac mulcher on The Pines tree line
• Turf the bare areas on The Palms fairways
• Trim the lake edges on The Pines
• Apply a standard and pre-emergent herbicide to The Palms rough
