The Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics invites members to join the battle against cancer, by contributing to critical cancer research and helping to build their Walkway to a Cancer-Free Future, tile by tile. Their vision is to create a tangible symbol of progress and perseverance in the face of cancer. The walkway will be a tribute to the resilience and courage of their community, and a testament to the support of those who want to make a difference.
The wall is positioned along the corridor to the entrance of the ACRF International Centre for Cancer Glycomics within the Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics. Strategically positioned, the wall serves as an invitation to the community to help build this walkway. In tandem, it reminds our cancer research teams of the community support propelling their discoveries forward – a collective commitment toward a cancer-free future.
Each tile will serve as a permanent marker of the donor’s commitment to a cancer-free future, and an inspiration to the many visitors and members of the Institute. This is an opportunity to be part of a legacy of hope and innovation.
Members are invited to the official launch of the Walkway to a Cancer-Free Future. For further information, please view the Walkway to a Cancer-Free Future flyer here.
