Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Needle tined The Pines greens
• Applied a pre-emergent herbicide to The Pines fairways, rough and driving range
• Applied another herbicide to The Pines rough
• Solid tine aerated the “weak” areas on The Pines hole 3, 5 and 6 fairways
• Verti-cut The Pines putting greens and the green on practice hole 3
• Trimmed and detailed the bunker edges on The Palms
• Continued to use the Ventrac machine with a mulcher attachment in The Pines tree lines
• Repaired and replaced the thin turf areas on The Palms
• Mowed The Palms rough
• Consolidated the new sand on The Palms 14^th hole bunkers
• Continued irrigation trimming on The Pines
• Finished cleaning the areas surrounding the new palm trees on The Palms

Next week the team plans to:

• Mow The Pines rough
• Detail and trim the bunkers on The Pines
• Apply a sodium flush to The Palms
• Apply an herbicide and pre-emergent to The Palms rough
• Continue irrigation trimming on The Palms
• Apply an herbicide to The Palms bunkers
