Notice – The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works

Please see the below course updates: 

• Hole 14 – out of play
• Hole 15 – out of play
• Holes 19 and 20 replace holes 16 and 17, respectively 
• All one-tee starts begin on hole 19
• All two-tee starts begin on holes 1 and 11, with holes 19 and 20 to be played after hole 18
• The new bunkers on holes 11, 12 ,and 13 will be back in play on Friday 23 August. The new turf areas will remain as GUR.

Please note contractors will begin shelling out other bunkers throughout the program. 

The following works have been completed on holes 16, 17 and 18. 

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 16

• The bunkers have now been shaped
• The bunker to the left of the green has been drained and a Duracrumb liner has been installed
• The bunker on the right is requiring drainage and Duracrumb liner to be installed
• New turf is set to be completed on bunker edges and new sand to be installed
• The 16^th hole is set to re-open on Monday 26 August

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 17

• The centre fairway bunker is being shaped in its new position
• Irrigation and drainage is set to be installed around the fairway bunkers
• The bunker on the left side of the fairway has been shaped and a top-soil has been added
• The green side bunker has had a temporary liner and a new bunker sand installed

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 18

• The 18^th hole is set to close on Monday 26 August for works to commence
