Notice – The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works

Please see the below course updates: 

• Hole 14 – out of play
• Hole 15 – out of play
• Holes 19 and 20 replace holes 16 and 17, respectively 
• All one-tee starts begin on hole 19
• All two-tee starts begin on holes 1 and 11, with holes 19 and 20 to be played after hole 18

Please note contractors will begin shelling out other bunkers throughout the program. 

The following works have been completed on holes 15, 16 and 17. 

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 15

• The 15^th hole bunkers have been completed and back in play.
• The bunkers are white staked and new turf areas are GUR.

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 16

• The bunkers have been shelled out and shaped.
• The bunkers are to be drained and lined.

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 17

• The bunker in the middle of the fairway has been de-turfed.
• The fairway bunker will be reshaped in a new position.
• The bunker on the left hand side of the fairway has been shelled out and reshaped. This will become a grass bunker.
• The greenside bunker has been shelled out and a temporary liner has been added before fresh sand to be installed.
