Peter Senior among 2024 King’s Birthday Honours List

Australian golf legend and member of Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Peter Senior headlines the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours List, receiving an Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to golf. Senior, who has won 35 professional titles, including 21 victories on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia, as well as wins on the DP World Tour and Japan Golf Tour, is celebrated for his remarkable career and contributions to the game.

PGA of Australia CEO Gavin Kirkman and Golf Australia CEO James Sutherland praised Senior’s achievements and the recognition of various contributors to Australian golf. This year’s Honours List highlights the significant impact of both prominent figures and dedicated volunteers within the golf community.
