Bunkers GUR (Ground Under Repair)

Members please be aware that the bunkers on The Palms golf course have remained GUR due to player safety and the Rules of Golf.

Some Members have suggested we should play clean and place (1 club length) as we did during the COVID restrictions. This was implemented as it was a health directive to keep golf being played in Queensland during COVID.

Unfortunately, this is not permitted as you cannot introduce a local rule that is contrary to the Rules of Golf. We have had this verified by Golf Australia.
