Update on the Golf Courses
The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:
- Foliar fertiliser application on The Pines tees, aprons, and fairways
- Acid flush application on The Pines greens
- Fungicide and insecticide application on The Palms
- Acid flush application on The Palms greens
- Trimming of irrigation heads on The Pines
- Trimming of lake edges on The Pines
- Mowing of The Pines rough
- Mowing of The Palms rough[remove period]
- Assistance from the Members’ Working Group with a clean-up on The Palms 1st hole
Next week the team plans to:
- Complete general course maintenance
- Mow The Palms rough
- Mow The Pines rough
Update on the Golf Courses:
- As previously communicated, The Pines golf course will undergo its annual renovations commencing on 15 January 2024. The process will equal to the works completed on The Palms golf course, with the course being closed for three weeks. Pending weather interruptions, we are not expecting any challenges with recovery.
- Tree works – In line with the findings of our tree safety report, Independent Tree Services will start work on removing all sick and or dangerous trees on The Pines golf course. This work will be carried out while the course is closed for renovations.
