2023 Sanctuary Cove Shootout

Sunday 3 December saw the Sanctuary Cove Shootout Finals for 2023 played on The Pines golf course. 19 ladies and 19 men qualified for the event by carding their best 3 single stableford scores throughout the year on The Pines golf course. A hot summer’s day saw perfect conditions with little wind greet the players. As play on each hole concluded, players were knocked out one by one with the 19^th player standing crowned the 2023 winner for each the men and the ladies.

The final hole saw Sue Matheson defeat her good friend Valerie Day, while the 2008 Shootout Champion Bill Perske was crowned the winner again in 2023, defeating Gary Simmons.
