Update on the Golf Courses

This week the Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following:

• Barricaded the pre-emergent application on The Pines tees, fairways, and rough
• Repaired turf patches on The Pines greens
• Rock wall detailed and applied herbicide on The Pines 6^th, 7^th,and 13^th
• Applied herbicide on The Pines bunker edges
• Applied gypsum on The Pines greens

The Palms golf course renovation update:

• Top dressed and rubbed in fairways and aprons
• Granular fertilised tees, aprons, and fairways
• Completed bunker detailing
• Mowed the rough
• Over sowed the 8^th fairway
• Trimmed irrigation heads and blew sprinkler debris
• Completed turf repair work on the greens
• The Palms golf course re-opens Monday 20 November

The team plans to address the following next week:

• Dust The Palms greens
• Apply sulphate of potash on The Palms greens
• Apply acid flush on The Palms greens
• Trim and detail the bunkers on The Pines
• Mow The Pines rough
