The Club recognises that mobile phones and other portable communication devices are an important part of modern life.
Members are to be reminded of the below rules in regards to use of mobile phones whilst at the Club:
Clubhouse
Mobile Phones The making and taking of mobile calls whilst in The Jabiru Restaurant and Lakeview Bar are not permitted. Mobile phones may be used on the Terrace or in the Clubhouse foyer.
Practice Areas
Calls may be made and received by Members and guests whilst using the Club practice facilities, however, provided the ring tone is silent and such activity is discrete and does not interfere with the quiet enjoyment of the practice area by other Members and guests.
Courses
Calls may be made and received by Members and guests whilst using the Club golf courses, however, provided the ring tone is silent and such activity is discrete and does not interfere with the quiet enjoyment of the golf courses by playing partners, other Members and guests or anyway contribute to slow play.
Calls may be made and received by Members and guests whilst participating in social (non-competition) golf. Such activity must be discreet and must not diminish the enjoyment of the courses by nearby Members or guests.
