Not only does our GCM team prepare two world-class golf courses for play each and every day, they also prepare a rugby league field for one of the greatest rivalries in rugby league history – the State of Origin. The attached photos show the amazing results of the blood, sweat and tears shed by Michael Wood who single-handedly turns the once-driving range into a pitch of international standard. Thanks Woodsie, for your dedication and hard work, it doesn’t go unnoticed. |

Congratulations to Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Member Marcelle Chapman. Marcelle made a hole in one on the 4th hole of The Pines on Thursday 8 June whilst playing in the quarter finals of the Ladies’ Handicap Championships.
Wednesday 14 June is World Blood Donor Day and the Club is proudly raising funds for this important cause. Anyone, at any time, could require life-saving support and Lifeblood is there for all Australians. Lifeblood supports more people in more ways than ever before through blood provision, organ matching, tissue typing, donated breast milk and other means. You can support Lifeblood by giving blood, or with a financial donation for their milk research program or microbiome pilot. Together, we’re Australia’s Lifeblood. By making a financial donation, you can help advance Lifeblood’s research and development programs, so they can make a bigger difference beyond blood. Donations can be made online at the Club’s fundraising page, by participating in the Club’s Nearest the Pin competitions or by enjoying our Lifeblood Donor Day specials in Lakeview Bar. With current shortages of blood due to seasonal illnesses, if you would like to donate blood, please register for an appointment here.
In recognition of World Blood Donor Day on Wednesday 14 June, the Club will be raising funds for Australian Red Cross Lifeblood on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June 2023.
Nearest the Pin (NTP) competitions will be held for men on Wednesday 14 June and for ladies on Thursday 15 June. Entry into the NTP competitions is $10 per person and the winners will each receive a $100 dining voucher for The Jabiru Restaurant.

Date: Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June 2023

In line with the Club’s Strategic Plan recently shared with Members, the installation of a solar power system on the Clubhouse has been revisited and approved by the Board, with works to commence as early as 19 June 2023. Click here to view full details.
Due to the unforeseen rain events over the weekend, the golf cart parking extension has been delayed and will now commence on Thursday 15 June 2023. The works involve adding six further cart parking spaces to the existing site at the Clubhouse entrance. The build is scheduled to take two days, during which time we kindly ask Members to park outside of the golf shop.
The cart park at the Clubhouse entrance will be blocked off, however the disability parking spaces will remain available for use.
We appreciate your understanding during these works.
Members’ guest rounds are available at the following rates:
The Club also offers pre-purchased Members’ guest rounds in a voucher form at a reduced rate per round. While Members will not have to be present on the day of play, they will be responsible for the behaviour and actions of their guests. All guests are required to sign in at the golf shop under the Members’ name.
The Pines Golf Course
Purchase ten rounds for $110 per round
Note that Members’ guests are limited to 6 visits per annum on The Pines golf course.
The Palms Golf Course

To purchase Members’ guests rounds, please contact Ryan Gailey via email.
At the end of each competition, a playing conditions calculation (PCC) is applied which calculates how difficult the golf course played on the day, relative to all competitors. This PCC is incorporated in handicap adjustments following competition play, and it is completed automatically by GolfLink; the Club has no impact on the outcome.
Click here for more information from Golf Australia on the PCC.
