Following the introduction and success of the Ladies’ 9-hole Competitions on Monday, these will continue in 2023 commencing on the dates below:
There will be a mixture of single stableford, 4BBB stableford and 2-ball ambrose events with the competition fee being $10.
The annual renovations on The Palms golf course will commence on Monday 16 January 2023. The renovations involve works on all areas of the course, including tees, fairways and greens.
The golf course will be closed for 12 days and will reopen on Saturday 28 January 2023, with an estimated recovery time of four to six weeks. During the renovations, we kindly advise residents that you may experience a slight increase in dust and grass clippings as well as noise from machinery.
Various tree works on The Palms golf course will also be completed in this period.

The Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Eclectic began on 1 January 2023 and runs until 30 November 2023.
For 2023, the Club has added The Palms Eclectic competition in addition to The Pines Eclectic competition. To partake in these events, a $20 joining fee for men and $30 joining fee for ladies applies. The ladies’ fee includes entry in Women’s Golf Gold Coast and District Events. When players register for one Eclectic competition, they will automatically be entered into both.
The 2023 Sanctuary Cove Shootout qualifying for men commences on Wednesday 4 January 2023 and closes on Wednesday 8 November 2023. The ladies’ qualifying commences on Thursday 5 January 2023 and closes on Thursday 9 November 2023. The best three stableford scores throughout this period in all single stableford competition rounds on The Pines golf course will count towards players’ totals, with the top 19 players in each field vying to be the Shootout Champion. Men’s scores are taken from competitions off the blue tees, and ladies’ scores are eligible from competitions played off the red tees. The Shootout Final will be held on Sunday 3 December 2023.

We are excited to announce that as of 1 January 2023, we have upgraded from an affiliate to a reciprocal agreement with Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club, which is located on the world famous Melbourne sandbelt.
Peninsula Kingswood is one of the premier golf facilities in Australia with world-class golf courses, practice facilities, accommodation and dining.
Each Member is allowed a maximum of 6 games per year and we are capped at 250 rounds a year for our Members at Peninsula Kingswood.

For all of our Honour Board Match Play finals, we have a Member refereeing the matches to ensure there are no disputes and also to confirm scores, playing order and rulings where required.
These Members will also be able to call Ryan Gailey when necessary who has National Level Rules Accreditation.
Any Members interested in becoming a referee will be required to have a Level 1 Rules Accreditation as minimum and the Club will assist with this process.
