Ladies’ SCGCC v Royal Queensland Interclub Challenge – Tuesday 25 February 2025

On Tuesday 25 February 2025, 35 ladies from Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club competed in the annual SCGCC v Royal Queensland Interclub Challenge at Royal Queensland Golf Club. Liz Hansen and Robyn Fandrich excelled, securing 44 points in a 4BBB Stableford format. Congratulations are also extended to Libby Shakespeare and Jane Mullings for their win in the Nearest to the Pin competition.

The combined efforts of the team resulted in a narrow victory, with a total score of 288 points against Royal Queensland Golf Club’s 285, allowing Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club to retain the trophy. This achievement is particularly significant as it marks the first triumph at the away course since 2018.
