Message from Golf Course Superintendent Cameron Smith

“Over the past week, the golf maintenance team has been working diligently on both The Palms and The Pines golf courses despite the challenges posed by over 86mm of rain. Although the heavy rainfall delayed some of our scheduled activities, we’ve made significant progress in various areas. Preparation for the PGA Scramble event on The Palms golf course has been a key focus, alongside ongoing weed eradication efforts and preparation on The Pines golf course for the upcoming Legends Pro-Am. We’ve also been actively maintaining the rough areas across both courses, cutting as much as possible given the conditions. While some areas may still be a bit longer than usual, we appreciate your patience as we continue to manage these tasks.”
