The Pines golf course is scheduled to undergo renovations from Monday 6 January to Sunday 26 January 2025.

The renovation dates have been determined with considerable planning, primarily driven by the following key factors:

2025 WPGA Championships on The Palms Golf Course

As The Palms golf course is closed to members from Monday 3 March to Sunday 9 March 2025, the Club wants to ensure The Pines golf course is fully recovered and presented in its usual condition. The selected earlier dates will provide the best opportunity for The Pines golf course to recover, in line with suitable weather conditions.

Machinery and Resources 

The machinery required for the golf course renovations and tournament preparation will be heavily utilised during January and February. As such, undertaking renovations in early January will provide staff with a small respite before committing to the long hours required to prepare two golf courses to tournament standard. 

Weather 

Historically, January and February have proven challenging with wet conditions, and renovation extensions may need to be considered. As such, renovations in early January allow for a possible delay for the Golf Course Maintenance team to amend the renovation schedule as required.

With these key points in mind, the Club is confident that this renovation schedule will ensure the best outcome for members.
