Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week on The Pines golf course:

• Verti-cut and dusted course greens
• Applied a fertiliser to the tees, green aprons and fairways
• Applied a fertiliser to the driving range fairway
• Edged the paths 
• Mowed the rough
• Trimmed the irrigation heads
• Mowed the driving range and topdressed the divot areas on the tee by hand
• Mowed, topdressed and fertilised the large putting and chipping green surrounds

On The Palms golf course, the following was completed this week:

• Detail trimmed the bunkers
• Trimmed the lake edges
• Trimmed and sprayed the weeds in the gardens
• Trimmed the greenside sprinklers
• Applied a selective herbicide to bunker surrounds

Next week the team plans to do the following to The Pines golf course:

• Lightly dust the greens
• Detail trim the bunkers
• Trim the lake edges
• Complete an irrigation trim

As well as complete the following on The Palms golf course:

• Mow the rough
• Complete an irrigation trim
