Update on the Golf Courses
The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:
The Palms golf course renovation
- Scarified the The Palms golf course fairways
- Spiral cut and top-dressed select fairways on The Palms golf course
- Mowed, top-dressed, aerated and rolled The Palms golf course greens
- Mowed The Palms golf course tees
- Removed excess palm fronds from The Palms golf course
The Pines golf course maintenance
- Installed new drainage on The Pines golf course hole 9
- Applied a wetting agent and insecticide to The Pines golf course tees, green aprons and fairways
- Applied a fungicide to all The Pines golf course greens
- Repaired and raked The Pines golf course bunkers that experienced washouts
- Applied a foliar fertiliser, pigment and growth control to the practice range target greens and south practice tee
Next week the team plans to:
- Verti-cut and dust The Pines golf course greens
- Finish applying a wetting agent and insecticide on The Pines golf course
- Conduct an irrigation trim on The Pines golf course
- Complete top-dressing The Palms golf course fairways
- Apply a fertiliser to The Palms golf course greens and fairways
- Dust The Palms golf course greens
- Continue to clean up on The Palms golf course
- Mow The Palms golf course rough
