Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Commenced the yearly full course renovation on The Palms golf course
• Scarified The Palms golf course greens, tees and fairways
• Used the Ventrac broom attachment and circle cut The Palms golf course greens
• Aerated The Palms golf course greens using a Toro ProCore
• Conducted a shockwave aeration on The Palms golf course fairways
• Circle cut The Palms golf course tees

• Used the Toro Rake-O-Vac machine to clean up debris on all playing surfaces after scarifying

• Undertook a hand hose wash on The Palms golf course greens before applying a top dressing of kiln dried sand
• Removed trees on The Palms golf course
• Removed palm fronds from The Palms golf course hole 1

Next week the team plans to:

• Continue the full course renovations on The Palms golf course
• Verti-cut The Pines golf course greens
• Mow The Pines golf course rough
• Apply a granular fertiliser to The Pines playing surfaces
• Renovate the large The Pines golf course putting and chipping green
