Notice – The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works

Please see the below course updates: 

• Hole 7 – out of play
• Hole 8 – out of play
• Holes 19 and 20 replace holes 7 and 8, respectively 
• All one-tee starts begin on hole 19
• All two-tee starts begin on holes 1 and 11, with holes 19 and 20 to be played after hole 18

Please note contractors will begin shelling out other bunkers throughout the program. 

The following works have been completed on holes 7 and 8. 

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 7

• The mound in the middle of the fairway is being removed
• A bunker is being added to the left side of the fairway near the green
• The front left greenside bunker will be shelled out before being reshaped
• The right-hand side bunkers will be rebuilt after the new rock wall has been installed

The Palms Golf Course – Lake Edge Works – Hole 7

• Construction has begun on the rock wall at the lake edge

The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 8

• The rear greenside bunker has been completed
• Reshaping of the front greenside bunker has begun
• Shaping works to the front bunker will include grading from existing ground levels to tie this in with the new rock wall

The Palms Golf Course – Lake Edge Works – Hole 8

• The new rock wall has been completed
• Grading works will be performed with the shaping of the new front bunker
