Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Applied a herbicide to The Pines tees and green surrounds to control Mullumbimby couch
• Undertook further irrigation, valve lid, drain pit and sprinkler head trimming
• Applied another herbicide to The Pines practice putting greens and practice hole 3
• Commenced mulching the pine forests using the Ventrac machine with a mulching deck attachment
• Applied a foliar fertiliser to The Palms tees, green aprons and fairways
• Mowed rough on The Palms
• Continued turfing bare areas on The Palms fairways
• Transplanted palm trees on The Palms hole 1, 2 and 10

Next week the team plans to:

• Needle tine aerate The Pines greens
• Apply a pre-emergent herbicide to The Pines fairways
• Complete a herbicide application to The Pines rough
• Continue mulching the pine forests on The Pines
• Continue the irrigation trim on The Pines
• Further turf bare areas on The Palms fairways
• Complete mowing The Palms rough
• Trim the new bunkers on The Palms
