Update on the Golf Courses
The Golf Course Maintenance team has faced significant challenges due to the heavy rainfall, with over 98.5mm of rain since Monday morning.
The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:
- A trim to detail the paths around The Pines practice putting greens
- Placed a woodchip mulch on the garden area behind The Pines 11th green
- Turfed over a stump removed at the rear of The Pines 3rd green
- Applied a granular fertiliser to the southern practice range tee
- Continued to remove Poa annua from The Pines greens
- Edged The Palms cart paths
- Conducted a solid tine aeration along the path edge on The Palms 2nd hole using the Ventrac Aerator before turfing the bare areas along this path edge
- Turfed the bare areas on The Palms 15th fairway
Next week the team plans to:
- Apply a foliar fertiliser to The Pines tees, green aprons and fairways
- Edge the paths on The Pines
- Undertake a solid tine aeration on The Pines tees
- Conduct further turf works on the bare areas on The Palms fairways
- Continue garden detailing and tree removal
