Notice – The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works
Please see the below course updates:
- Hole 17 – out of play
- Hole 18 – out of play
- Holes 19 and 20 replace holes 17 and 18, respectively
- All one-tee starts begin on hole 19
- All two-tee starts begin on holes 1 and 11, with holes 19 and 20 to be played after hole 18
Please note contractors will begin shelling out other bunkers throughout the program.
The following works have been completed on holes 17 and 18.
The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 17
- The fairway bunkers have been shaped in their new positions
- The drainage and Duracrumb liner have been installed
- The irrigation has been moved to new positions
- Extra drainage has been added to the bunker surround
- Final shaping, sand installation, and new turf laid will complete the bunker
- New turf is set to be laid on the new grass bunker
- The hole is set to re-open on Monday 2 September 2024
The Palms Golf Course – Bunker Works – Hole 18
- The existing turf has been stripped around the bunkers
- The bunkers are currently being shelled out
- Shaping for this hole will begin shortly, along with the installation of new drainage
