Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Needle tined The Pines greens
• Applied foliar fertiliser to practice range fairway and target greens
• Completed mulch application to The Pines 8^th and 11^th tee garden, as well as 13^th green path garden
• Continued to remove Poa annua from The Pines greens
• Solid tined the damp area to the left of The Pines 11^th fairway
• Mowed The Palms rough
• Conducted irrigation repairs on The Palms holes and practice greens
• Turfed bare areas on The Palms 14^th fairway
• Conducted drainage works on The Palms 13^th hole
• Renovated the practice range south tee, which included:
  • Aeration using the Ventrac with agri-vator attachment

  • Dethatching using the Ventrac with power brush attachment

  • An application of topdressing and granular fertiliser

Next week the team plans to:

• Apply herbicide to The Pines rough that targets Mullumbimby couch
• Solid tine aerate The Pines tees
• Conduct an irrigation trim on The Pines and The Palms
• Needle tine aerate The Palms greens
• Apply herbicide to out of play bunkers
