Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Preparation for the Sanctuary Cove Ladies’ Classic event on The Pines and The Palms completed
• Foliar fertiliser was applied to The Pines fairways, tees, and aprons
• The new bunkers on the 1st, 2nd and 4th holes of The Palms were edged and detailed
• The gardens at The Pines 12th hole toilet block were mulched
• The Palms lake edges were trimmed
• Selective herbicide was applied for Kikuyu control on The Palms 9th hole
• Herbicide was applied for weed control in The Palms out-of-play bunkers

Next week the team plans to:

• Apply foliar fertiliser on The Pines fairways, tees, and aprons
• Members’ Working Group to complete work on The Palms 6^th hole
• Continue selective herbicide application for Kikuyu control on The Palms
• Repair and replace turf on The Palms fairways
• Continue cleaning up the gardens on The Palms
• Apply fungicide on The Pines and The Palms
