The Club is pleased to introduce Darren Morgan as our new Head Chef at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club. Darren brings a wealth of expertise across a diverse range of culinary styles and cuisines to our team.
Trained at the esteemed ‘Queen’s College’ in Oxford, UK, Darren honed his skills as a classically French-trained chef before making his mark in London’s culinary scene, contributing to the success of renowned establishments ‘Homes House’, an exclusive private and members club and ‘Lola’s Restaurant’, earning 1 Michelin Star and the award of ‘Best New Restaurant’ during his time there.
His journey led him to Australia in 2000 for the Sydney Olympics before settling in Melbourne and earning accolades at ‘L’oustal’ restaurant where he not only crafted exceptional dishes but also nurtured the talents of aspiring chefs. Relocating to the Gold Coast with his family in 2018, Darren’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own café and small goods stall, showcasing his dedication to quality and innovation. Most recently, he served as Head Chef at the Tallebudgera Surf Club, and he is excited to utilise his skill set further here at the Club.
Darren’s commitment to excellence, paired with his passion for culinary trends and local ingredients, promises unforgettable dining experiences for our members and guests.
Join us in welcoming Darren as he brings his creative flair and expertise to Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club.
