Coaching Tip with Steve Darmody – Upper Body Swayback Fault

Here is a simple way to fix an upper body sway on the backswing.

This can be caused by trying to move behind the ball or trying to turn the shoulders to level.

  1. Put 60% of your weight on your left foot
  2. Turn the shoulders down
  3. Turn in a more perpendicular way to your spine angle
  4. This can help your forward swing balance and timing
