Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team completed the following this week:

• Post storm cleanup on both The Pine and Palm courses (fallen trees, branches, and debris).
• Mowing of playing surfaces on The Pine and Palm courses.
• Fungicide application on greens on The Pine and Palm courses.

Next week the team plan to:

• Continue post storm clean up on both courses.
• Foliar fertilise The Palms tees, aprons, and fairways.
• Verti-cut The Palms greens.

The golf course maintenance team has been working tirelessly, and will continue to do so for many weeks cleaning up the massive amount of debris left behind from The Christmas storms. Both the golf courses are now open for play with only the bunkers being out of play at this stage. 

A special thank you goes out to the group of members who helped with the massive clean-up the 2 days following the storm.

The hard work doesn’t finish there for the maintenance team as we go straight into The Pines course renovations starting the 15th of January.
