As our staff continue to become more accustomed with the Northstar software, we wish to share with Members updates on activities and procedures.
Direct Debit Payments
For Members wishing to make payments by direct debit, please ensure to follow the below setup in the SCGCC app:
Once you have added credit card details to your Member profile, your charging privileges will be available throughout the Club within 24 hours. If you would like to begin charging to your Member account within 24 hours, please call Member Services during operating hours to activate the charging privileges.
Please note that if the tick boxes “Use for Recurring Payment” and “Default Card” are not checked, the Club will not be able to direct debit your account or activate your Club charging privileges.
If you have not provided direct debit details, please ensure payment for charge account transactions has been receipted by the Club prior to the due date of your Member Statement. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the rights attached to your membership being automatically suspended until all debts have been paid in full.
Member Statements
Due to the continued absence of staff in our administration and finance departments, we sincerely apologise for the delay in delivering your September Member Statements. For those Members who have direct debits set up, please note that the 7-day period for statement review will be honoured from the day statements are distributed.
Please be aware that your Member statements do not currently reflect your Club Credit activity. While we regret to inform you that there is no immediate solution for this issue, Northstar is actively working towards a resolution.
This information is available, however, on the SCGCC app under “Recent Charges”. Scroll down to your “Credit Book” to view the remaining balance of your competition prizes and Club Credit.
Competition Prizes
To simplify Member accounts, we are also continuing to work on processing competition prizes directly to a Member’s charge account rather than a separate Member competition prize account.
We expect to have this rectified in the near future. In the meantime, we have manually transferred Members’ competition prize balances at the end of the month to offset any expenditure incurred by Members throughout September.
For further information regarding Northstar changes, click here.
We express our continued gratitude to you for your ongoing patience.
We appreciate that Members may infrequently be faced with dissatisfaction as a result of certain Club actions, decisions, policies and/or other. Regrettably, this dissatisfaction has at times lead to unpleasant and often ill-mannered phone calls to our staff, for which reason calls will now be recorded for quality control and training purposes.
Should you have a complaint, please click here and complete the online form.
