Update on the Golf Courses

This week, the GCM team completed the following:

• The Pines greens were verti-cut, amendments applied, light dusting and insecticide applied
• Herbicide application on The Pines fairways to control Mullumbimby couch
• Completed herbicide application on The Pines rough
• Worn and weak areas on The Pines green perimeters were returfed
• Foliar fertilise The Pines tees, green aprons and fairways
• Rough mown on The Pines
• Turfed around furniture pad at The Pines 5th tee and The Palms 12th tee
• Lake edge trim on The Pines
• Insecticide application to The Palms tees
• Weeds sprayed in The Palms bunkers
• Sprinklers trimmed on The Palms course
• Commenced work to alter garden at The Palms 13th tee

Next week the team plan to:

• Continue turf replacement of worn and weak areas on The Pines green perimeter
• Returf the worn area of Zoysia turf rear of The Pines 13th green
• 6mm solid tine aeration on The Palms greens
• Second herbicide application on The Palms tees, green aprons and fairways
• Trim irrigation on The Pines
• Mow The Palms rough
