Update on the Golf Courses

This week the Golf Course Maintenance team accomplished the following:

• Foliar fertilised fairways, tees, and apron on both courses
• Over sowed The Pines entrance lawns with ryegrass
• Trimmed the path edges on The Palms
• Trimmed/detailed The Palms bunker edges
• Applied fungicide on The Pines greens
• Completed 2^nd application of Poa (winter grass) control on The Palms greens
• Trimmed drain pits on The Palms
• Needle tined the 2^nd green on The Pines
• Undertook garden works on the 8^th hole on The Palms including mulch transfer
• Began lake trimming on The Pines
• Garden detailing around The Palms putting green/18^thareas
• Mowed The Palms rough

Next week the team plans to:

• Needle tine The Palms greens
• Apply Kikuyu control on selected areas on both course
• Apply couch encroachment control on The Palms greens
• Re turf bare areas on The Pines 3^rd and 5^th fairways
• Continue lake edge trimming on both courses
