Wednesday 14 June 2023 was World Blood Donor Day and in support of this cause, the Club raised funds for Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. Thank you to all Members who contributed to our fundraising efforts. Valuable funds were raised by way of Nearest the Pin competitions for both our men and ladies, donations from coffee sales and daily World Blood Donor Day food and beverage specials in Lakeview Bar on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June. The Club has proudly raised $1,867 to help advance Lifeblood’s research and development programs so they can make a bigger difference beyond blood. Several Members have also, importantly, registered to donate blood with local Gold Coast blood banks. With current shortages of blood due to seasonal illnesses, these donations will assist greatly. Congratulations to our Nearest the Pin winners Andrew Fisher and Kate Alexander who both received a $100 dining voucher for The Jabiru Restaurant.
The installation of a solar power system on the Clubhouse began earlier this week.
We ask Members to please utilise golf cart parking in front of the golf shop and near the driving range during this period as cart parking at the Clubhouse entrance will only be available for handicap parking. Please ensure you don’t park on grass areas as they have recently been oversewn with winter grass. We appreciate your assistance on this

Please extend a very warm welcome to Tara.
