Update on the Golf Courses

The Golf Course Maintenance team addressed the following this week:

• Verti-cut and lightly dusted The Pines greens
• Applied foliar fertiliser/growth regulator on tees, fairways, and aprons on both courses
• Completed sub-surface drainage work at the start of The Pines 5^th fairway
• Spread pine needle mulch on the left of The Pines 2^nd tee
• Trimmed and mowed the lake edges on The Pines
• Solid tine aeration on bare areas on The Pines 11^th, 14^th and 15^th fairways
• Commenced The Pines south range tee renovation by scarifying and spiral cutting
• Applied weed control in the Golf Clubhouse gardens
• Mowed the rough on The Palms
• Pedestrian rolled The Palms’ new turf areas
• Continued turf work couch encroachment on The Palms greens
• Trimmed valve boxes and drainage pits on The Palms
• Completed garden detail and mulch work around The Palms 5^th tee

Next week the team will:

• Apply granular fertiliser to The Pines greens
• Mow The Pines rough
• Hand top dress bare patches on The Pines fairways
• Top dress new turf areas on The Palms
• Continue turf work couch encroachment on The Palms
