Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club welcomes Members and their guests to dine in The Jabiru Restaurant this autumn with the release of our latest menu offering. The autumn menu is a selection of the highest quality ingredients and presents meals that encompass Head Chef Ben James’s dining philosophy of simplified, quality dishes that excite your palate.
The menu features premium meat selections such as char-grilled 250g eye fillet sourced from the Coonawarra region, grain fed and aged for 120 days or the mouth-watering 500g+ OP rib fillet on the bone from Darling Downs with a marble score 2+, grain fed and 150-day aged.
Our chefs are equally pleased to offer a variety of quality seafood from Humpty Doo barramundi, Moreton Bay bugs to fresh oysters (available for pre-order or limited availability on the night). To add to this exquisite range, wild-caught rock lobster is available by pre-ordering. As our chefs ensure to source the freshest rock lobsters and oysters possible for Members to savour, it is essential that these items are pre-ordered at least 24 hours in advance. Please advise staff at time of booking if you wish to order, to ensure you do not miss out.
Head Chef Ben James has once again made a concerted effort to ensure dietary requirements are catered for with a large number of gluten free dishes available.
The Jabiru Restaurant is open for bookings each Friday evening from 6pm and reservations can be made via the online tee sheet or by phoning 07 5699 9000.

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club is thrilled to welcome back to its golfing calendar the 10th Anniversary Sanctuary Cove Ladies’ Golf Classic in 2023. This highly anticipated event will be hosted from Sunday 25 June to Tuesday 27 June 2023.
After a two-year break due to Covid, we are excited to welcome over 120 ladies from all over Australia to once again partake in this unique three-day event.
A long weekend filled with golf, daily functions, fun and friends, ladies will compete for the coveted diamond-studded putter over a two-day single stableford competition, after playing in a social group format on day one. Following each day’s golf are the welcome cocktail party, the official dinner and the presentation dinner on the final night, embracing the warm camaraderie the Ladies’ Golf Classic offers.
Ladies will be spoiled with over $7,000 worth of fantastic prizes on offer, including accommodation at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Titleist golf bags, FootJoy shoes, Callaway headwear, gift vouchers, perfume gift packs, and much more from our supporting sponsors.

Following the introduction and success of the Ladies’ 9-hole Competitions on Mondays, these will continue in 2023 on the below dates:

Welcome Carolline Pires PolydoroThe Club would like to welcome Carolline Pires Polydoro to the kitchen team. With a background in commercial club-based kitchens, cafes and restaurants, Carolline is a great addition to our team, and we look forward to sharing Carolline’s passion for producing high quality dishes with Members. Please welcome Carolline when you see her at the Club.
A note to all Members to please refrain from approaching and engaging fellow Members regarding disciplinary behaviour or action. Should a Member witness concerning conduct by another Member, please contact the golf shop to allow staff to manage any situation at the Club.

A reminder to all Members that as of Sunday 1 January 2023, all Members must display a 2023 buggy sticker on their buggy when accessing the golf courses. 2023 buggy stickers can be collected from the golf shop Monday to Sunday, 6am to 5pm.
The weekly Members’ Sunday Night Roast is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm.
The roast is $35 per person and includes a soup, a selection of traditional roast meats and vegetables and dessert.

The Weekly Members’ Draw will be drawn at 6:30pm. The Members drawn in the last Members’ Draw were Mrs Robyn Rogers and Mrs Leonie Millar. Mrs Rogers and Mrs Millar were not present, therefore the amount has jackpotted to $2,200 Club Credit with two chances to win.
