Entries are now open for the 2023 Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Easter Tournament. The Easter Tournament is a highly anticipated annual event and will run over the Easter weekend.
There is over $11,000 worth of prizes up for grabs throughout the Easter Tournament including Easter baskets, Titleist golf bags, FootJoy shoes, Titleist golf balls, golf shop vouchers and more.
The Walker Cup

Time: 7:45am and 12:15pm shotgun start – 4-person ambrose
Inclusions: Pre-golf food for both fields, post-golf seafood buffet and competition fees and over $6,000 in daily prizes

The Jabiru Cup
Date: Monday 10 April 2023
Time: 12pm shotgun – Single stableford with random teams draw and an additional event for each team of four
Inclusions: Pre-golf food and post-golf buffet and competition fees and over $5,000 in daily prizes
Price: $85 Members, $155 Members guests, $65 food only (for partners who are not playing in the tournament)

Congratulations Raymond Smith – Guinness World Record HolderCongratulations to Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Member Raymond Smith on being announced the Guinness World Record Holder for the youngest golfer to score their age.
This is a phenomenal achievement by Raymond and broke the previous record of 68 which stood for over 20 years.
On 27 January 2017, Raymond fired an amazing 67 around The Pines golf course at the age of 67.
This record excludes professional golfers.
Members are invited to an International Women’s Day event at Griffith University’s Institute for Glycomics. The event is titled Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future. Click here to view further details.
The Club is excited to host the first Ladies’ Invitation Day for 2023 on Thursday 16 March 2023. Each Member is permitted to bring one guest for a competition fee only.

With school holidays just around the corner, the Club invites children aged 5 to 12 years to join us for a morning of Easter-themed craft and chocolate making fun with Head Chef, Ben James. Ticket price includes all materials and ingredients, and lunch and drinks for the children. Places are strictly limited, and bookings are essential.

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Members and Sanctuary Cove residents are invited to the Club to join in on our complimentary Easter Sunday Family Egg Hunt on Sunday 9 April 2023. The hunt will take place from 7am on The Pines driving range. Children will hunt for Easter tokens which can be redeemed for Easter eggs in the Clubhouse foyer from 7:45am. This event is free of charge and is open to the first 100 children aged 12 years and under who have been pre-registered via the Club’s website.
Following the hunt, Members and residents who participated are invited to Lakeview Bar in the Clubhouse for an Easter Sunday buffet breakfast from 7:30am until 9:30am.

It is with deepest regret that Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club advises the passing of Member Ms Traci Butler who passed away on 22 February 2023 at age 61. Traci was a Member of the Club for over 9 years.

A note to all Members to please refrain from approaching and engaging fellow Members regarding disciplinary behaviour or action. Should a Member witness concerning conduct by another Member, please contact the golf shop to allow staff to manage any situation at the Club.

A reminder to all Members that as of Sunday 1 January 2023, all Members must display a 2023 buggy sticker on their buggy when accessing the golf courses. 2023 buggy stickers can be collected from the golf shop Monday to Sunday, 6am to 5pm.
The weekly Members’ Sunday Night Roast is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm.
The roast is $35 per person and includes a soup, a selection of traditional roast meats and vegetables and dessert.
Places are strictly limited, to avoid disappointment please book by phoning 07 5699 9000.
The Weekly Members’ Draw will be drawn at 6:30pm. The Members drawn in the last Members’ Draw were Mr Trent Scrivener and Mr Bronson Tucker. Mr Scrivener and Mr Tucker were not present, therefore the amount has jackpotted to $2,100 Club Credit with two chances to win.
