On Tuesday 14 February, love was in the air as Members and their guests enjoyed an intimate dining experience in The Jabiru Restaurant to celebrate all things love on Valentine’s Day. The celebration saw champagne flowing and taste buds delighted by a succulent menu created by Head Chef Ben James, while diners danced to the acoustic serenades of Michael Hickey. Ladies’ Foursomes Match Play FinalThursday 16 February saw the ladies play the final of the Foursomes Match Play on a beautiful summer day. Cathy Mathieson & Glynis McBride defeated Christine Naidoo & Valerie Day in a well fought match that went down to the 19thhole where Cathy and Glynis were victorious.

It is with deepest regret that Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club advises the passing of Member Mr Ken Ishii who passed away on 12 February 2023 at age 98. Ken was a Member of the Club for over 25 years.

Members and friends wishing to pay their respects and join the Celebration of Life are welcome to attend The Jabiru Restaurant from 2pm.
On behalf of the family of Mrs Geraldine Porteous, Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club wishes to advise there will be a private Celebration of Life for Geraldine to be hosted at the Club on Friday 3 March 2023. Members and friends wishing to pay their respects and join the Celebration of Life are welcome to attend The Jabiru Restaurant after the conclusion of the private celebration from 2pm.

Welcome Jayden AbeleThe Club would like to welcome Jayden Abele to the kitchen team. Jayden joins us after recently completing his chef trade certificate and apprenticeship. Jayden has a particular flare and interest in Asian cuisine, and outside of work he has a passion for imported motor vehicles. We look forward to Jayden producing some wonderful dishes for Members to enjoy. Please make Jayden feel welcome when you see him at the Club.
A reminder to all Members that as of Sunday 1 January 2023, all Members must display a 2023 buggy sticker on their buggy when accessing the golf courses. 2023 buggy stickers can be collected from the golf shop Monday to Sunday, 6am to 5pm.
The weekly Members’ Sunday Night Roast is held on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm.
The roast is $35 per person and includes a soup, a selection of traditional roast meats and vegetables and dessert.
Places are strictly limited, to avoid disappointment please book by phoning 07 5699 9000.
The Weekly Members’ Draw will be drawn at 6:30pm. The Members drawn in the last Members’ Draw were Mrs Virginia Kitchen and Mr Craig Hutson. Mrs Kitchen and Mr Hutson were not present, therefore the amount has jackpotted to $2,000 Club Credit with two chances to win.
